A great place to stay in the heart of an historic town. The host, Vladimir, is a wealth of information and a joy to get to know. We stayed in room #2 on the ground floor. It was spacious, decorated with antiques (Vladimir has an antique store just down the lane) and had a huge bathroom with tub, handheld shower, sink and full, well lit vanity. Up a short flight of stairs is the kitchen which can be used by the guests. There's a fridge, stove and espresso machine that Vladimir keeps filled with coffee beans at no charge. There's also a small fridge of soft drinks and beer with an honor pay set up. The kitchen has tables and chairs for sitting and enjoying your coffee or any of the food you buy at the store across the main square. Vladimir's motto is "Come as a guest. Leave as a friend." We did exactly that, and had a wonderful experience staying at the Pension Nostalgie in Cesky Krumlov.
