This new alpine-style hotel combines a perfect location with a friendly atmosphere and German quality with Czech prices, the best conditions for a pleasant stay. Thanks to the large signs on access roads, the hotel is easy to find. There is ample parking behind the hotel building. The hotel rooms are large, bright, clean and comfortable, from which you have a beautiful view of the wooded surroundings. The quiet location allows you to sleep at night with the windows open. The varied breakfast buffet exceeds the level of good German hotels, which we didn’t really expect. The cold cuts and bread from Bavaria were particularly good. The hotel is a perfect starting point for hikes and excursions in the Bohemian Forest on the Czech and Bavarian sides. However, you should have a car or a motorcycle with you. The hotel wifi signal is not strong enough in all hotel rooms, but the public LTE signal is available everywhere. All hotel rooms have a TV with Czech and German programs. But there is no fridge and no possibility to brew coffee or tea. Instead, you can always get something good to eat and drink in the downstairs restaurant. We recommend having lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant. We tried many different dishes from the menu and were always happy with it. The venison goulash with Bavarian potato pancakes was especially good. The menu is available in Czech and German, but only in the restaurant and not on the bilingual hotel web page. The interior of the restaurant is decorated in the Bavarian style. In summer you can sit outside under a very old linden tree, a really nice place. The very friendly waiter was always helpful and communicative. If you want to spend some beautiful days in the Bohemian Forest, or if you are in this area and want to eat something good, consider this hotel with its restaurant. You will be pleased.
