Apartments Iris

I dont usually do reviews, but here I feel like I could write a book, because this place and its owner are simply beyond and a real example of how high quality hospitality should be done. First of all, the apartment we stayed at is a pure luxury, with amazing quality bed and bedding, towels, fully equipped kitchen, amazing spacious bathroom, the cleanest place we have ever stayed at ( and after visiting over 35 countries we did stay at quite some apt and hotels to be able to compare). Ruza (the owner) is an amazing lady that has been running the apartments for years and probably the only one I saw really washes the bed covers and the small sofa and bed pillow in between every guest. She would come every 2 days to clean the bathroom and change the towels which were all included in the price and so extremely appreciated. Also, every couple of days she would change the bedding, so this is basically a hotel stay, but with much more comfort and daily amenities. We have been traveling for months prior to our Hvar stay and this was the first time I really could fully relax and enjoy as we were taken such a good care of. Ruza was even bringing us a locally produced olive oil, made by her family and if we went out of it, she would quickly refill it. All the small touches and efforts she provided made this by far the most amazing stay we ever had. The house is new, extremely well kept and the surroundings are breathtaking. To be honest i don't understand a bit lower score on the location as we found it superb. It is only a 10 min walk to the very center of Hvar city yet situated in a calm street where some of the apartments have gorgeous balcony views over the see. Honestly, i can not imagine staying downtown Hvar in the middle of the season with all the tourist and the noise, so a 10 min walk for full serenity and peace is so worth it IMO. To mention, there is even a huge outdoor barbecue area with a dining table that can be used by the guest any time. Also, parking sport available and free of charge. And of course, our dog very welcome which we really appreciated.
