Apartments Andrea

One of the best apartments I have ever stayed in. Location is central - can't be beaten - moments walk from all the best restaurants - but still quiet because of the surrounding stone walls - and in any event very well glazed, so a very quiet and peaceful place. The views of the ruins from all of the windows are stunning and very romantic. The internal design is delightful with clean lines and an unfussy, yet quite cosy feel. All the rooms are of a very generous size and the whole apartment feels open and light and spacious. The mezzaine room on the top floor had a huge desk and desk light - an ideal space for a writer or anyone who has the need to do some desk work on their trip. The bathroom is small - but worked well for 2 single people - would work well for a couple, two single friends or a family - perhaps not for two couples, just because of the one small bathroom. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the bed linen was white and crisp and fresh - as were the immaculately white abundance of towels. The kitchen had all that was needed, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave - evertthing was easy and worked well and was so clean that we thought it was all new. The cutlery and glasses reflected the quality of the apartment - very stylish. There was plenty of storage space, lots of drawers and wadrobes throughout. The whole space was impecably clean. There has been a lot of care and attention given to make this apartment so special. We met the family who owned the apartment when we left - they were delightful and hugely helpful by allowing us to leave our cases as they cleaned and we had a last lunch in Split. The views from this apartment were just a knockout and the highlight of the trip - you will feel as if you are in a fairytale staying in this apartment - we can't recommend it highly enough.
