Apartments Old Mill

We had the privilege to meet with the owner of the Old Mill and spent 3 hrs chatting over a few cups of coffee. We were meeting Mladen for another purpose ( to look at the structure of the Mill) but found ourselves fascinated by his story of how the old Mill was saved and renovated into a fine restaurant and accommodation. The bureaucracy in Croatia made this all that much more difficult, but perseverance by Mladen and his team has seen his ruin turn into something beautiful. The manger does an excellent job of providing fine foods and hospitality - we would highly recommend a vist or a stay. If you have kids, the ducks on the river that runs under the mill ( as seen from a glass floor) are great to throw a but bread for a feed.
