La Bodega Apartments

Stayed here in September 2018, nice clean apartments with friendly hosts in an excellent location. The apartments seem quite new and everything was as advertised and so were very good value. It's not luxury but you are not paying for that. All the apartments had great sea view balconies with a beautiful views over Trogir and the islands. We had a small apartment which included a kitchenette with 2 hobs and a big fridge freezer, all the essentials including a kettle and filter coffee maker. The bedroom was comfy and the shower and toilet were nice and clean. The shower was of the power variety with good water pressure so that was great, none of this standing under a drip you can get elsewhere. The host Duje and the other employee/host (sorry forgot name) were lovely and helpful whenever required. They also provided a great breakfast every morning, not full English but lots of meats and cheese with eggs cooked to order. Fresh fruit and pastries were plentiful and the tea and coffee very nice. The pool was small but clean and a lovely place to spend some time, lots of games available. The pictures on their site show it exactly as it is. The beaches are a very short walk (you are nearly on the front) through some pleasant fruit orchard type gardens and are great. They are pebble beaches so make sure you take some beach shoes however loads of loungers are available at a low cost (most of the time we didnt even need to pay). Some Dolphins came on the first day which was amazing and it's also great for snorkeling. It's located just outside Seget Donji in a sleepy area however there are some nice, cheap bars and restaurants just on the beach and you can walk to the village for supplies and more eating and drinking options. There are beach taxis who can pick you up nearby and take you into Trogir which is worth a visit but was a bit touristy. Would recommend 2 tours, go to Krka waterfalls which are simply stunning and also the three island tour which can get you out to the islands. Make sure you go on the one with swimming stops as the waters all around are incredibly clear and amazing to swim in. All in all fantastic place to stay in an area where you can do as much or as little as you want.
