We had a bit of an issue getting access to the hotel and to our room because there was a note on the front door that said there would be someone in Reception only from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.  We had let them know that we would arrive between 5 and 6 p.m., but we arrived early, at 4 p.m., and there was no one there.  

We went to the bar next door and asked them to call the number listed to let the owners of the hotel know we had arrived and they did, but they complained that people had been arriving at that hotel all summer with no one to greet them, and that they had been having to call the hotel owners all summer to get them to come and let people in.  

Once he knew we had arrived the manager came promptly, took our payment (they take cash only) and showed us up to our room.  The room was large, and both it and the bathroom were clean.  The beds were comfortable.  There was also a small kitchen space with refrigerator, stove and kitchen table in the room, but we did not make use of them.  

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the ferry dock, and quite near the center of town so it is very conveniently situated.  Note that all of the rooms are upstairs and there is no elevator so you'll have to carry your luggage up.  We did not have a car but our booking said that free parking was available for those that need it.  There was no breakfast option offered.

Unfortunately the room windows had been left open by the cleaning staff and by the time we arrived and were able to shut them, mosquitoes had already entered the room.  We killed as many as we could before retiring for the night but in the end we had to go to bed still hearing the whine of the mosquitoes, and we each got multiple bites.

This is basic, no frills, budget accommodation, acceptable for a very quick stay.
