We had to cancel our trip due to the Covid and we explained the situatio the hotel was not understanding: no reduction in cancellation fees and refusal to postpone the stay by one year. 
It is the only hotel that did not want to make a move for us in this situation that we did not choose. They have to teach how to write message in English by the way. We'll book in another hotel next year.

Detestable

Dirty and decadent structure. Unfortunately, the staff is rude and arrogant. The bathrooms are only three not enough for more than thirty people, they are fatigued and dirty, the showers do not come out more than a drop of water at a time. The rooms were dirty, the beds were not solid and they did not change the trash bag even once in six days. The kitchen is tiny and dirty, the pool looks like a swamp.

I 'd rather sleep in the car.

Me and my friends stayed in this hostel for some nights and it was absolutely a negative experience. In general the rooms and the bathrooms were dirty, the water in the shower was scarce and cold. There aren't lockers and the door locks don't work very well. The kitchen is furnished with two fridges and it's quite clean but it's very small. The staff was a little unkind as they asked us extras for cleaning. Not recommended.

Terrible stay

I was traveling alone for a dance workshop in Novalja. I've never been to this area before. It was about a mile walk from the bus stop (though there are taxis that can take you), but the walk was completely manageable. The took cash only, but when I didn't have enough on me, they kindly drove me to an ATM (which was a relief after I walked a mile in the sun). There are no lockers, but during my stay I felt safe and none of the people in my room felt the need to lock up their stuff either. When I arrived, my bed wasn't ready. To compensate they put me in a nice air conditioned room by myself until my bed was ready - I absolutely couldn't complain about that! I had the best sleep of my life after hostel hopping for months. This hostel is run by a family and you will often see them making family dinner or lunch by the pool. It's kind of nice and gives it a feeling like you are at home. I didn't have any problems while staying here and the staff were very attentive to my needs. I will stay here again if I find myself back in Novalja.

nice family run hostel

It’s a good hostel when you want to party, it have a big common area and a nice pool the problem is that sometimes the host don’t let you bring your own drink because he want to buy from he’s bar. The night guard is really unfriendly he didn’t even try to understand English and was rude most of the times. Location is good because is 100 metes away from the bus stop that can take you wherever you want and the beach is alto 6-7 minutes away  

Party Novalja 

We spent a day at the Crazy Night and it was great, a garden with swimming pool for a good time, and two guys who worked there (Ivan and his unpronounceable partner) showed us some of the local nightclubs.

The hostel is good, has everything you need for a great stay. Nothing I disliked, maybe the location is a little remote but even if you don't have a car there are buses going all the time. It was fairly clean (as much as you can expect from a party hostel). Good price also compared to other places in Novalja

great place

This hostel was great in so many ways. 
We originally booked to stay in Crazy Night Hostel for 4 days and we end up staying over a week. 
If I could stay more, I would stay for sure. This experience couldn't have been any better for me.
If you travelling alone or with a group, I would recommend this hostel very highly.
The staff were very lovely and always made you feel welcome. I felt like coming home every day. 
Guy in front desk is the cutest recepcionist. He was sincerely actice in making sure our time here was memorable. 
You must go to experience this hostel. 
I would and I will go 100% again. 

Awsome experience 

The place is nice, but a family that takes care of everything; they are like 8 people all the time in the hostel, selling you out of a good deal; you can't have alcoholic beverages unless you buy them from them, they want to sell a face that they're not; they don't have to take the number!

Hostel for young people who just want to party and don't care much about where they sleep. Hostel is very dirty, especially in the common areas. Kitchen is unusable, with spoiled and very old dishes. For your safety, I advise you not to use them. Owners want to be nice to guests, but they don't really know how to handle it. They spend all day in the pool smoking and drinking, without providing any assistance to guests. I don't really know him, even though I'm a young girl who has finally managed to settle down.
