When you book private accommodation, the owner's hospitality is very important for the whole impression. Although the appartment was big, well equipped, with a beautiful sea view, we didn't feel welcome. We've got no reponse to our e-mail. We had no parking place when we arrived, although it was stated that parking place is secured, and in our e-mail we've said at what time exectly we plan to come, and that we'll arrive by car. The owner said that "the problem" is that he and his family "now have 3 cars" (?!). I don't understand why this should be our problem, too? He didn't introduce himself, looked very surprised when we came, although we made our reservation 2 months ago through booking site, and sent an e-mail a few days before, just to confirm our arrival. He was half naked, wearing only shorts. A/C got broken "just 2 days ago". There was no WiFi signal in our appartment. There were no local TV channels, no radio, and we came on the day when Croatia played a very important football game during FIFA World Cup at midnight, so we've planned to watch it at home. Again, something got broken "just a few days ago". I haven't seen such hard toilette paper since my early childhood at my old granny's house. Although the owner knew the exact time when we were leaving, there was no one there to at least leave the keys and say "goodbay, I hope you had a nice stay and that you'll come back again". It is so sad to see that so nice appartments have such a bad management. I don't like to write bad comments, but I do hope that maybe this will make things better, because hospitality doesn't cost a dime.
