20 reviewsHi , el deportista hotel was our base camp in medellin , really economic ( for a double room ) , no tourists around and in , Directly in the city center , staff is not really speaking english so better to speak spanish but nice staff and helpfull , Area could look unsafe at night time buy It s definitly not ( local colombians are really nice so don t be scared ) , cheap local restaurant in front of the hotel . Don t take room on the street they are quite loud ( lot of traffic from 8 am to 7 pm ) We recommande you this place , way more than poblado Area ( too expensive and nothing typical )
