The hotel is within short walking distance from the gold museum and the national museum of Colombia.Staff at the hotel was very friendly, patient and helpful despite me not being able to speak Spanish and most of the staff not speaking English.The room was cleaned each day although the carpet did look a bit tired and could do with refreshing. The tv service was a bit grainy but as I wasn't in my room much it didn't bother me to much.The room was a bit noisy and could do with some soundproofing as it is on a busy road. Overall though, I would happily spend another week at this hotel!

All Colombian citizens, regardless of the length of their stay, and all foreigners who stay in the country for at least 60 consecutive days, are required to pay a national sales tax (19%) on their accommodation during their stay. Foreign citizens with a tourist visa are exempt from paying this tax. If the person subject to tax and another person exempt from tax share the same room, the rate may be applied to the entire room.
