shopping centre [24 kfc] plenty of marts & chemists all beside and facing hotel.major bus route,b20 south goes to bus/coach and train station[1 yuan] which drops you in front of airport shuttle bus and ticket station.i paid 150 yuan from airport by taxi,,,shuttled back for 20 yuan.. the hotel staff all very helpful and friendly,also spoke good english , the fact there was no fridge in room was not important there is plenty of places to buy cold drinks local,there is free lan connection but you pay for wirelss and the tv is in chinese [but i live in england and they dont supply chinese television in the hotels either]. zhengzhou is not a main tourist location and is heavely under construction .in a nutshell...great location for transport.....shopping....eating ,friendly helpful english speaking staff...good place to use as base, i was in zhengzhou as tourist and this hotel suited my purposes [one of which was to visit shaolin]
