It was the only hotel during our trip to China (Beijing - Shanghai - Hong Kong) where it wasn't cold inside in Jan! That's its best point and, believe me, it's really important:) Good location - 5 min walk to subway, genuine "china-town" around the hotel with street markets and small shops, friendly and helpfull staff (although theyr english is their weak point), clean rooms and several little things that are really helpful (like good Shanghai map) :) Don't believe "The Bund View" part of your room's type - you actually can see the small part of the Bund somwhere far away:) But instead you get really interesting view of b.m. china-town :)) As for me - this hotel totally worth its money.
