I’m a Hilton Gold Member and always prefer staying with Hilton properties — and as expected, the DoubleTree by Hilton Shanghai Pudong did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We were allowed to check in early around 10am, which was a great start to our 6-night stay. The room was spacious and clean, and breakfast was excellent every morning — a wide variety of options and great quality. We needed to change our room from the West Wing to the East Wing due to accessibility needs, and Heidi Huang from Reception was absolutely fantastic. She immediately helped us change rooms and even showed us the new room in advance to ensure it met our requirements. Her professionalism and kindness truly stood out. A special shoutout also to Jimmy Zhang from Concierge — he spoke great English and was extremely helpful in recommending local restaurants and must-see attractions. His local knowledge made a big difference in enhancing our trip. All in all, we enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Shanghai!
