White Swan Hotel Qingyuan

Stayed at this hotel while touring different parts of Qingyuan. It is second only to Mayland Resort, but at about half the nightly rate. We were also attracted by the hotel's buffet dinners. Arrive early or no later than 6:30pm. The buffet opens at 6:00pm and the choicest cuisine goes quickly. Last night I especially liked the mini steak burgers. About 15% of the cuisine offerings change daily. We bought our dinner coupons a day early on a coupon site. Our cost was 110rmb per person. Another person joining us did not purchase in advance and paid 148rmb for the buffet. Another advantage of the coupon, is that we also received a special plate of higher-end mixed cuisine, which certainly better than typical buffet food quality. The discount coupons are available at meituan.com; the foregoing site is in Chinese only. The hotel is not lit very well. I assume they try to manage the electricity cost. On an overall basis, I'd rate it as a four-star hotel. It rates itself as five-star. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and helpful. About 20 % speak fairly good English. Many of those with limited English greeted us in English and we returned the greeting in Chinese. The English equivalent of "Wanke Baitian'e Holiday Hotel" is essentially White Swan Hotel, Qingyuan. Some of the signage reads "White Swan Hotel".
