The hotel was right outside the entrance of Taipingjiao Park and it's located in a very quiet area.  I grew up in Qingdao so I do know the area pretty well.  The hotel was very clean and the service people were really friendly.  It's about 2 minutes walk to the subway station.  There were several restaurants just around the corner.  You can also find a convenience store and a grocery store nearby.  I am a clean freak but the hotel definitely meets my standards.

5 minutes walk from no.3 beach, a very pleasant 15 stroll through a park and along the shore to no. 2 beach the location here is great if you are coming for the beach. Also very conveneient for buses into both old and new towns. Not many restaurants nearby but we managed to find places to eat. There is a very convenient market just by the entrance for fruit, snacks etc. Hotel is clean and comfortable and staff helpful. Had a great time here!

Great place but they would say your room number out loud. Kind of worrying since there was a huge group of guys sitting in the lobby and could easily figure out where people were staying. They had a problem with my passport, they scanned it when I checked in but then the next day they asked to see it again. Fumbled around with the scanner for about 10 minutes before finally giving it back. Also, the washer/dryer was a bit strange. I tried to open the door when there was 2 minutes left on the drying part, so I stop it but the door wouldn't unlock. I finally had to find the plug behind the machine and unplug it to get my clothes out. Other than that, the room and bed was great, location is pretty good, right next to a park (although a bit tricky for taxi drivers) and the bathroom was pretty good (although a bit small).

After visited Shan Xi and Tain Jing we came to Qingdau for a short visit, stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel situated in the corner of Taiping cape park which spread along the coast line for more than 10 miles, every morning we took a boardwalk along this coast line, the scenery is stunning. The hotel provides all the amenities we need and sumptuous breakfast, except coffee  service is very good.  Particular thanks for the hotel manager Mr Shih, humbly accepted our comments about their coffee which needs to use a better coffee bean. However in off season, it is a very good value we had. They do have non-smoking rooms, but you have to request which we did.
