20 reviewsThat was my first time at Nanning. I came to Nanning for business trip and I consider to stay at Universal International Hotel for 7 nights. I arrived at this hotel at 7.30 pm and in that time there was no bell boy or any hotel staff that can assist me to carry my luggage. After that I went to the Front Desk and check-in and none of them greet me. Also none of them can speak in English! The reception gave me the room keya and she shown me the room number (because she can't speak in english). I stayed at room 1215 on the 12 Fl with Nanning city view. Room a bit dusty and I found a dead cockroach near the sofa and it really TERRIBLE! Room equipped with King size bed, TV, Sofa, Writing desk, Wardrobe and Wifi. No bathtub, and Mini bar (Refrigerator). Wifi connection sometimes unstable. Breakfast was good. One thing that really annoyed me that none of the hotel's staff can speak in english. So, a bit hard to understand wht they said especially for the foreigner who doesn't speak Mandarin. Hotel located near mall and wet market, theres a lot of shops and street foods.
