Lijiang Sinkoo Hotel

We stayed here for 2 nights during our visit to Lijiang. The hotel itself is beautiful. We stayed in room 301, which I do recall was over of the priciest, yet it came out to just about 70 USD (or a bit over 400 CNY) per night. The room decorations were formidable. The sink, toiletries holders, and bathroom walls and floors were just beautiful. At the risk of overusing the word, the room was also beautiful. It had a lovely view of our part of Old Town of Lijiang, and a skyview. We were actually in Lijiang two nights before our reservation started since we were traveling to Lugu Lake first. We called this hotel and they kindly agreed to hold our luggage for 2 nights while we travelled to Lugu Lake, no complaints or requests for a fee. The hotel is close to the major road, so you don't have to walk or carry your luggage for long before reaching it. It was just about a 100 meters walk or so. When we arrived two days later the staff took the luggage to our room, in the third floor, for us. They were always very kind and friendly. The room was fully furnished with anything you could expect. TV, water boiler, bathroom essentials, toothbrushes and toothpaste, hair comb, hair dryer, etc. In addition, I appreciated their air humidifier since I'd been traveling a bit already and needed it. During the stay I needed to repair my luggage and they happily lent me a screwdriver. Finally, they arranged our transportation to the airport at no additional fee. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I'd love to be back in the future. It was an incredible experience for the cost.
