I booked this Inn through elong website. China has many such `budget' hotel chains in China for example, Motel 168, 7 days' Inn, etc. My experience with such accommodation is that they suit thrifty travelers like me who hope to have clean, tidy rooms at a budget price. The double bed room cost RMB218 per day and I stayed at Jinan in this Inn for 2 days. The lobby is at the upper floor not at the ground floor and is accessible by a lift. Other than the lobby area, you cannot access to the bedrooms without an access card. On one occasion, I left my access card in the room and had to go to the lobby to seek assistance to access to my room. The security appears to be tight and surveillance cameras are installed in the lift and along the corridors. The location is central and is just opposite the Baotuquan Park. Daming Lake is just within walking distance to the north of the Inn and I went there for a stroll in the early morning of the second day. The Spring City Square, the Furongjie shopping street and the Five Dragon Pool, the museums are all within short radius from the Inn. The bus to Qianfoshi (The Thousand Buddha Temple) can be boarded from the bus stop directly opposite the Inn. The location is convenient for travel and there are many eateries around the area. I found the room adequately comfortable with good air-conditioning and nice ambience. The toilet is clean and the color of the room is bold and colorful. The only problem I faced initially when I arrived at the Jinan train station was the bus to the Inn but I eventually met a friendly local who directed me to the hotel. I would consider staying in this Inn if I visit Jinan again.
