Yurun Hanyuelou Villa Resort

A planned visit to Huangshan out of season (late Autumn / early Winter) but without booking a hotel. We asked local guides who suggested this hotel. Our first impressions were spot on, it was perfect we checked in at once. The Villa Resort is laid out in beautiful grounds with tress, shrubs, flowers and lakes. Our room was a short walk past the restaurant and conference rooms, with wonderful views of the mountains. The rooms were large, well furnished and spotless, a real pleasure. Dinner was in the main restaurant next to the ornamental lakes again with magnificent views of the mountains. Dinner in the 1st floor restaurant was perfect with the very best dish of eggplant / aubergine I have ever eaten. Breakfast on the ground floor was a well laid out buffet, with a very good choice of both Chinese, Continenetal and English items. I wish we had been able to stay longer, it really was a delight.
