29 reviewsWe were a bit worried about having booked this hotel as the very last review stated that it had now closed. However we were assured by Agoda that it was open and I now wonder why nobody else has reviewed it. We booked this hotel for a night after our Yangtse trip and although it is quite far from the city centre, given that the taxi fares are pretty cheap it worked out well although it was further from the Yichang East Railway Station than I would have liked (my fault as I got the station mixed up and not the hotel's fault in any way). Very close to the main area of Xiling district with it's shops, eateries etc. I must say we were very impressed with the room - far exceeded our expectations and appeared to have been completely renovated - huge beds, brilliant bathroom - more like a 4 or 5 star hotel and not what we had expected given the price we paid (I think it was around $30). Very friendly staff who speak relatively good English. I would recommend this hotel.
