I've stayed in only a few hotels on 3 visits to China but the Shunjing Hot Spring Hotel is my favorite and choice for future visits when staying in Beijing. It is only about 10 miles from the airport. The service was always great and accommodating; the rooms are spacious, the bath/shower/tub is very nice. The breakfast buffet was always nice; the egg chef was very receptive to my golden yellow omelet needs...LOL. Laundry service was always great and timely; the pools and spas were quite a treat, so many types to choose from with varying environments. If I had one complaint, it wouldn't be just about this hotel alone but appears to be all in that the beds are a bit hard compared to western standards. The location is not in the immediate area of shops and restaurants but just a quick taxi ride away. My Chinese wife may wish to try other local hotels but I've advised her that this one will always be my first choice for comfort, value and familiarity. My actual visit dates were June 2011, June 2012 and June 2013.
