I was in Beijing for business trip and was arranged by the company to stay here. I was honestly disgusted to see the pictures of this hotel online before I arrived into Beijing. However, after I checked in and walked into my room, I have to say that I kind of like this budget hotel! The room was recently renovated and you can still smell how new it is. It's not small but rather cosy and it was clean enough. Bad thing is, the bathroom was not renovated. Unfortunately that while the bedroom was clean, I wouldn't say the same for the bathroom. It's definitely old and dirty and has a bad sewage smell. Towels look new but I still used mine and I'll tell you why. I shared room with a Chinese colleague and what she did was to lay the clean towels on the floor when she showered. Imagine you use those towels on your face and body, yucks! For a day or two, I'll stay here. More than that, I'd rather top up money and stay in a better hotel.

Slightly Better Than Expected...

We have been there this summer just for one night, in was an emergency, we were 6 people from Italy. it is one of the best places that I have seen in two months! Good service, rooms were not so big but clean (with respect to the other places we have been.....just a paradise!) A very good solution. Prepare on time the morning after to stop a taxi...they are a lot but just one or two stop!

Very good place!

I was in this hotel from october to november 2010 and according to the rooms prices I expected a really bad hotel, but I discovered another world when I arrived.

Although the rooms are little and with no more than a bed, tv and air conditioning, are very clean and quite. The bathroom is also clean, of course you don't have to expect a luxury situation, but everything is enugh for your stay.

The hotel is easily reachable taking the subway number 13 and get off in Wudaokou station. Then the most simple way is to take a taxi with the name of the hotel and the address written, the taxi driver will understand immediately where is. The taxi fare to reach the hotel from the subway station is about 15CNY.

The Wudaokou area is amazing because is the University area. You have a wide choise of restaurants (chinese, japanese and western), bars, discos,karaokes and pubs! You cannot be annoyed there!
