The hotel had everything I needed to rest and enjoy the island.

We received a wonderful and friendly welcome from Rose upon our arrival. We were given a detailed tour of the premises and all the amenities. The room was fantastic, the location was perfect, and the service was amazing.

It was a quick getaway but had such a relaxing time. I previously stayed at the Ritz, which was great of course, but it this place was more homely and the staff was great! I didn’t really do much else but hang around Shangri-La and I was okay with that! I had the pool and also had food delivered. Also, I loved seeing the chickens roaming around in which you wouldn’t see this at a resort. I will definitely stay again!

The property is away from the main attractions. You need a car to move around the island. The place is well maintained and it is exactly as shown in the website. Room so roomy and comfortable beds & pillows.

A quiet, beautiful and relaxing place. It is so serene. Rose and Hattie are amazing and so welcoming. The location is close to most beaches, attractions, grocery and restaurants. Pay extra for the breakfast, it’s delicious and will hold you until dinner time. I call this place my tropical home away from home. I will definitely be back!

We were truly pleasantly surprised and loved our stay at the Shangri la.  It is a gem and we can not say enough about Rose and her welcoming personality.  We loved the quietness of the location and how close it was to the beaches, restaurants, shops and airport. Everything is so well kept and it is truly beautiful.  We have already began to recommend it for anyone who wants to visit the west end of Grand Cayman.  Can not wait to return.

The Innkeeper Rose is extremely friendly and so sweet. The property is the cutest bed and breakfast next to a water inlet with a pool and jacuzzi. Such a comfortable room. I will definitely come back.

This was a very lovely and comfortable stay. Rose was absolutely wonderful and so welcoming - our flight came in late and she made sure we were all taken care of. The rooms were quaint and cute and staying at Rose's B&B felt like staying at a family member's house - welcoming and comfortable and full of care. The breakfast was delicious, would highly recommend! Thanks for everything!

We are beyond thankful for our stay at the Shangri-La. It was the most peaceful, wonderful part of our stay, which would not have been the same if we had chosen a different hotel. Absolutely beautiful place, amazing breakfasts in the morning, and every detail is taken care of for you. Impeccable cleanliness and very attentive staff!  If you plan on going to Cayman and need a location to set out from each day to visit beaches, trails and other sights I would highly recommend.  The shared pool and hot tub area was quiet and clean with hammocks and loungers available without the crowds or bugs.  I can't say enough about the warmth of the hostess.  We made a mistake with our safe and she carried a new one to our room within a couple minutes!  We did not do a full breakfast each morning but bagels and bread and coffee were still provided.  Fantastic stay, thank you Rose!

Shangri-La Bed and Breakfast is a great property! Lush landscaping and waterfront property with a pool and hot tub. Rose, the innkeeper, was amazing and friendly. She inquired after us constantly and was so accommodating. The neighborhood seems mixed development, some less well maintained properties and apartments mixed in with Shangri-La. As we drove in, we wondered if we were in the right place. You are further away from the action on the westside of Grand Cayman so be sure to rent a car. There is a resort fee and if you wish a full breakfast that’s extra, otherwise Rose sets out coffee and pastries. I would definitely recommend.

We stayed at this property while in Grand Cayman and it was perfect! Rosa made sure we were comfortable and taken care of the entire time. Close enough to the main attractions/beach without being in the middle of everything. Grounds are well kept. The best little getaway! If we ever return to Grand Cayman, we will be returning to Shangri-La.

Property was very comfortable and the host was super friendly.  Pool area and outside relaxing was great!  Nice restaurants within 5 minutes and 7-mile beach also less than 10 min away.  Optional full breakfast was delicious!  I would definitely return and stay here in the future.  The only negative feedback is that it is located behind a couple of local houses which could be cleaned up but the B&B property was beautiful.

Absolutely stunning place and excellent service. The positive reviews are true so don’t second guess when booking. Worth every penny and you’ll definitely feel at home. The room was spacious and clean and even better with the balcony.Breakfast is freshly done every morning with daily shopping for the next day’s meal and Rose was able to provide alternatives for foods that I don’t eat (I especially loved the blueberry French toast).Would recommend you either have your own car or arranged pick up though, but it’s a quick drive to the main areas.Thank you very much Rose and family. If I’m ever back in Cayman, I’d stay again.
