Is a nice place to stay. I just didnt like that no one there to answer door of office when i knocked to book a room. It was later in the evening. I waited a while but then the restof my experience was positive.

This hotel has been a family-operated business since the 1940s, long before there was a significant population on this side of town. My family moved to Sandwich East (3 blocks down the street from the hotel) in the mid-60s, and I've often had friends and visitors stay here. Flooding destroyed my parent's guest room, so my wife and I stayed here two nights for Christmas.

Service was above and beyond, very friendly and personable employees. Rooms were quiet, clean, and we had no complains. Amenities were a little sparse; refridgerator and microwave in every room, but, as mentioned elsewhere, no hair dryer and no coffee maker, though we did not inquire at the office if they were available. Wi-Fi worked great from room 2, no problems streaming Netflix. If the cable TV seems to have bad reception, just cycle power on the little converter box.

Hard to get a room, as a large part of the clientele is long-term repeat business, but well worth it if you need a hotel room in the East part of town, to avoid 15-30 minute drives to wherever you're spending your time. Competive rates and willing to make adjustments spontaneously when applicable.

With 9 rooms, though, it would be nice to see all of them on TripAdvisor. :)

This motel is half the price of others in the area, but don't expect luxury. It is reasonably clean (odd dust bunny in the corners), but does not have coffee or hair dryer. The bed was comfortable enough, and I got a good nights sleep. The lady at check-in was friendly. I will stay there again, but then I stay for business travel. Not recommended for a special get-away or anything like that, but great for a good nights sleep when on the road. If you have to work in Windsor/Tecumseh area, then this is the best place to stay as the others tend to be in the downtown area near the casino and are at least twice the price.

Suitable for business traveller

Horrible, just kindly calling inquiring about future vacancies and Diane herself answered. She clearly was not interested in renting a thing and was very condescending. For reference, I was asking for 2 months away! She then went on to reference our "housing crisis...dear" of which i am all too familiar she has no idea! Don't waste your phone call. Wow.

I wrote a review for this motel before and it got removed somehow... Interesting... This place is a sham and a whole in the wall.  Looks nothing like the pictures.  The other person who wrote the review must be friends with the owner or the owner itself.  Check out the website and realize why they don't have a single photo on the website of the rooms or the facade.  I feel sorry for people who would book a room there expecting the hotel they see in the pics and get a dirthole instead.  Don't even think about booking there.

SHAM!!

Only motel located mid city. Most are monthly rentals.  Been around a long time. No bar or food. Places to eat close by as well as grocery stores for extended long stay. Lads family restaurant across the street. Lots of local shopping close by
