It’s a beautiful place to stay and get away!!

Great location, well-stocked kitchen, and relaxing in the back yard by the river was just wonderful.

The oberge was very clean and beautifully located by the river. You can tell that the owners put their love and pride in making the place comfortable. The room was very nice and though the AC was only available in the hallway, it was comfortable (we came in the middle of the heat dome!).

Love staying here! I wish we could have used the backyard this time but it didn’t stop raining. The breakfast croissants are the highlight for me, so good.

The Overage Inn was perfect! I was doing the marathon on the P'tit Train du Nord trail, and the Inn was less than 1/2 mile walking distance to the start. The Innkeeper was wonderful and offered to help me find transportation back to the Inn after the race. The breakfast each morning was delicious and convenient...and they even had a small fire pit by the lake each evening. The Inn was cozy, well appointed, and really comfortable. And all the people staying there were friendly and great to talk to. There was also a grocery store and a few local restaurants within walking distance. I will return in the future!

Such a beautiful property. There is a volleyball court and many outdoor games. We enjoyed a fire in the evening. The room is quiet and very clean. The bed is very comfortable. We rode our bikes along the P'tit Train du Nord and this place is very close to the trail along a scenic footpath. We had a short walk to the restaurant.

In the summer it could be amazing. Volleyball area, beautiful patio on the river, canoes for rent and pickup after, community kitchen with lovely breakfast provided. No airconditioning in rooms downstairs and since we were there in fall not sure how hot it would be in summer on very hot days. Host very quick to respond and very kind and generous. Our room was not ready when we got there and he upgraded us immediately to a suite with kitchen! Loved it and would stay there again if price suits!

This is a very nice property on the river next to the centre of Val David. Very convenient to good restaurants. The property is equipped with many outdoor games and facilities. Breakfast was very good and complete.Unfortunately the air conditioning is just in the corridor and not in the individual hotel rooms so the night was rather hot because it was unusually hot weather.Lorraine and Guy were very friendly and helpful. We shall return for another visit.

We stayed here for the Labor Day weekend while our kids were at a nearby camp.  This was the perfect little couple’s getaway. We loved our room and the entire setting.  The grounds were adorable with sand volleyball, bbq, deck areas and hammocks, bike storage and rental and right along a nice river view for SUP or kayaking. From here we conveniently were able to go hiking in the Val David Regional Park and in Mont Tremblant National Park. Beautiful views all around. If you stay and like to hike we recommend the hiking loop C where from the top you get a great view of Lac Dore. Thank you for a great place to call home for a few days.

Great property, very clean, convenient, welcomy. Well maintained. Great staff. Excellent stay overall. Will be back!

Great stay at Oberge!

Lovely Little Hostel in Beautiful Area

The property is absolutely beautiful and the room was updated and clean. I loved the free breakfast in the mornings, they couldn’t guarantee everything was safe for peanut allergies but we didn’t have any issues. And it was the perfect food to fuel up before a hike. It’s in a great part of Val David, super easy to walk to local restaurants for dinner. Goï is wonderful, she does a great job maintaining the inn. We are planning to come back in the fall!

Perfect Stay!

I was so impressed with the Oberge inn. It was one of the cleanest and most comfortable hotels I’ve ever stayed in. It was quiet and relaxing. Guy, the owner was extremely helpful and provided information very quickly when asked. Loved that we could check in on our own and were given codes to get into the inn and our room.

This is an amazing place to stay. First time in my life that I enter to a room that smells clean, everything was perfectly placed to enjoy your stay. Having the opportunity to have your breakfast every day next to the river with an amazing view, it was a plus that I didn't expect. I'll come back for sure!

I liked everything about the property. Beautiful view from our room on the lake. We were biking Le P’tit train du Nord and they had a good place to store our bikes, we felt very secured. The place was not quite on the trail but with some info from the tourists’ office, it was easy to find. Talked with the owner during breakfast (sorry didn’t get the name) but she was so friendly, so was her dad. Anyhow, I recommend this place, it is just beautiful. They are also set up outside for bbq if you don’t feel like going out to restaurants. Rooms are super comfy and modern looking.   It’s a 5  star place and I will be back 😊

The location of the Inn was really unique - on a quiet road along the river. We reached it via a pedestrian/cycling bridge just off the Petit Train Du Nord trail. The sunny back yard and patio with ample seating was lovely. We did not use the outdoor grill or common kitchen but both looked well-stocked. Our room #23 was very clean and modern with a nice view of the back yard and river. Really ice bathroom with soaker tub. It was difficult to find a place to put both our bags as the room was smaller and without closet.Our contactless check-in was a bit confusing - directions for the shared kitchen weren’t clear and our room was missing towels so not the best way to start a stay. It was difficult to tell who worked/lived at the inn and who was a guest at times. The people that ran/owned? the Inn were lovely.The included breakfast was good- fresh, warm croissants were delicious. Mini muffins/toast/fruit were also included. It would have been nice to have a little more protein on offer. For the most part we had a really enjoyable stay and loved the town of Val David.
