Very happy to find this hotel for our stay. Right on the beach (high tide rocky, low tide nice and sandy), have everything you need for your stay and near by many places to go.Little mountain lookout - must visit place to see unbelievable views be very careful, super high not for people with kids too dangerous.

Loved this spot- beautiful ocean view, quiet and friendly.

Great water, fun property. The room was large and clean. Really enjoyed our stay.

Management was very accomodating with room change, immediate response to our need for her to come to our room regarding tv and landline. Flexibility with check out time when I had important meeting at Check out time.Room looked lovely when we opened the door, looks like some nice recent renos have been down to this very established facility. Comfy Beds and chairs. Being right on The beach!!!!!!!!! With huge glass wall and door facing the beach!!!

Interior was tastefully updated with notably high quality fixtures.

This property is as close to the ocean as you can get. Absolutely stunning view out the balcony.

Wonderful property directly at the beach. Small drawback is the main road just at the hotel which you can hear in your room. If you have a light sleep, use ear plugs. Otherwise beautiful location.

There is nothing but beauty here by the beach in Qualicum Beach.  The room is bright and clean.  We adhered closely to the COVID rules, as did the staff at Sand Pebbles.  We recommend this resort for a beautiful stay by the sea.

Our room was clean, updated and very well maintained, it was well stocked with the necessities and we had a nice view of the ocean, check in and out was contactless which was convenient, what we liked most was the price, we will be back and highly recommend this property to others

Booked just a one night stay on a trip up Island. I stayed at the Sand Pebbles many times when I lived on the Island in the 1970s and 1980s when it was new. It is a bit run down now outside although the rooms were clean and adequate. The kitchenette is just a fridge and microwave, no cups or utensils which was fine for us passing through but would be a surprise for a family on holiday. A small coffee maker was supplied but I prefer to make my own coffee. Had to heat the water in the micro with the coffee cup I had bought. Having said all this, the location is beautiful and I enjoyed a great walk at 7am. Stayed August 26th 2024.

Great - Very clean rooms, newly renovated. Ocean view from the bed! Pets okay. Kitchenette amenities good.Not great - no hot water. Best we got was lukewarm. Also when I turned the shower on, the bolt in the handle must have been stripped because the shower would not turn off and kept spinning on itself. The shower ended up running for hours before facilities management could come and take a look. Also not great - the outside of the building looks a little neglected. Lots of nice planters full of weeds. Would make a big difference to see those planted up or tidied a bit!Otherwise a very bucolic getaway right on the water. I do recommend despite the not greats listed.

The room was good. They have completed some up grades. The bed was fantastic. As there were three of us staying there there should have been enough towels etc. When I went to get additional towels I couldn’t get anyone to come to the door. I pressed the button a few times with no response. I also tried calling the desk by phone but there was so much static on the phone you wouldn’t be able to hear anything.

I had requested an early check in when I got the call about the check in time and extra cleaning for Covid, my request was granted (about an hour and a half earlier than stnd check in) when we got there however, it looked like the bathroom floor hadn't even been swept. Otherwise friendly staff. upgrades had clearly been done but unfortunately, some of the execution was a little disappointing (pencil marks on quartz counters, drywall patching left unpainted, visible joints in drywall where up lighting behind bed accentuated it. very nice location.

The property is right by the beach. It was lovely to see the tide come in and go out. It is minutes away from the Heritage Forrest where we enjoyed later afternoon walks. The property is a little aged. Some of the furnishing need some maintenance. But the room and the courtyard are well kempt. During my stay, the WiFi connection was a bit spotty. The location is only 3 minutes' drive from town centre where shopping and dining. A gas station, a convenient store and laundromat are just across the street.

As soon as we pulled up we knew we booked the right place. Friendly staff greeted us, the view of the ocean from the room is amaaaazing, we almost stole the pillows they were so much more comfortable than the ones we have at home, and in the morning we found breakfast 2 minutes away from the Inn.Loved it here, absolutely recommend it, cannot wait to be back.

This place is a treasure!

We stayed here for 2 nights with young kids.  Our room was newly renovated and very comfortable.   At high tide the ocean was less then 20 feet from our patio.  Was nice to wake up to the sound of waves in the morning.  The beach is INCREDIBLE.   Sand, clear water and you don't have to walk for miles to have a good swim.  There are stairs in front of the hotel that take you right to the  beach which was quiet.  The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure that we had a great stay. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.   I'm so glad I didn't listen to the previous reviews.

Love room 108 with a corner balcony ❤️ Felt like I was on a cruise ship because came up right to the cement wall at night ❤️ The building is very old but I hear they are fixing it up . I hope they put glass railing all around the balcony’s so you can see even more of the ocean ❤️ Will be back soon ❤️
