Back from the Pacific rim, we stop at this great B&B - quiet area - great welcome from John and Ron - what a marvellous art collection - the room was perfect well furnished and very clean - John's breakfast was great with pancakes and everything huge portions with delicious blackcurrant muffins for the day - to be highly recommended

We had the most divine breakfast at this BnB!  It is definitely worth the visit just to admire their wonderful art collection as well as a breakfast made by a retired chef.  John & Ron are gracious hosts that made us feel very pampered.  Very comfortable bed, clean, clean, clean.

A great place to stay especially if you are doing the Frances barklay day cruise,a lovely clean extremely well furnished and very high standard home.John and Ron were really excellent hosts.Doesn't get any better than a welcome pot of tea and home made apple strudel.Comfortable bed,good sized room.So helpful getting up early to provide a truly superb breakfast for us great selection and one of the best we have had and even got some muffins to take with us,thanks for making this such a great stay

wonderful stay at john and ron's b&b.  extremely friendly, helpful hosts, very obliging. rooms are spacious, clean with comfortable beds.  the house is filled with quirky, one-of-a-kind artifacts,  great to browse. john's breakfasts are a feast, huge portions including fresh fruit, yoghurt , granola, cheese plate,  a  heavenly 'main' dish and to finish - cake!
beautifully presented and extremely tasty.

The friendly and hospitable couple that runs this B&B doesn't accept mediocrity. Everything is arranged to perfection. The interior is, regardless of taste, beautiful. And the breakfast was superior: a big bowl of freshly diced fruits, scrambled egg with smoked salmon and so much more. 

We would certainly stay there again. (Nevertheless, the town of Port Alberni was a bit of a disappointment.)
