My favorite place to stay when I need to get to Toronto Via oshawa GO. Lots of food options a short drive away

they were very friendly and helpful but the rooms need at least one chair to sit in

I was surprised to find such a quiet location this close to the city.   Kristina in reception was lovely and had no problem with late check out.  Rooms were immaculate  Beds and pillows were very high end and comfortable.  If we ever have to stay in Bowmanville again there is no question we would be here

Close to the water and walking trails. We didn't get to try the restaurant but the building looked nice. The rooms were exactly as expected, comfortable and clean, with everything we needed for our family of four. Evan a microwave, fridge and coffee maker.The best part of our stay was the service. The check-in was very clear and we were late arriving but the owner called us and shared after hours details. She even went out of her way to return our HDMI cable (for their Nintendo) to us after the kids forgot it in the room. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again without hesitating.

We booked this hotel as part of a road trip my fiancé and I were taking. We had never been to the area but the hotel was easy to find and was in a fairly quiet area. There is a freight train but it was barely noticeable. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed linens and towels were in great condition and the large smart TV was a nice bonus. The woman working the front desk was very welcoming. We would definitely recommend staying here.

It was a good deal for an overnight and it had everything I needed including a coffee maker, microwave and a mini fridge. They don't have staff there in the evening for arrivals but they sent me both a voice and text message and had a lockbox to let me get into the room. One thing to be aware of is that there is fairly frequent train traffic with them blowing their horns for a nearby intersection.

Great hotel

This is a cute, two-floor motel.  Rooms are nicely redone (with no yucky dirty hotel carpeting).  I was impressed by how VERY clean our room was!!!!  Everything was fresh, crisp, laundered and tidy.  Lights and tv, as well as heating, were turned on for us to make for a welcoming arrival.  The bathroom (toilet & tub) is tiny, but the vanity isn't in there and the main room is spacious enough.  Our beds were warm and comfortable. Room conveniently has a small fridge and microwave  Even the coffee from the mini maker was yummy! We visited during the winter and I would recommend.

Nice, clean room with all you need, friendly and accommodating staff.The area around is rather industrial -- but that is not their fault! It appears to have grown up around them.It is a marina close to Lake Ontario -- imagine in would be fun in the season.Excellent place at a good price. Recommended.

We learned marina did not reopen after COVID, nor did the reputedly "great little" restaurant. Rooms are in a two-story building and are recently renovated and refreshed: everything was sparkling clean. Flowers and ferns adorn the exterior with porch chairs available. We were very comfortable in every way, although there wasn't a chair in the room (had to sit on the bed). Micro-fridge and coffee maker always a plus. Bath and bed linens were very high quality. Shower temperature and pressure very good. HVAC responsive and effective. Television selection included all the basics. Bring your own hair dryer, though. Nice complimentary toiletries and extra towels in the bathroom. We thought the parking lot looked a little tired and without any lines, it was challenging to know how to park. Our hostess was delightful, warm, welcoming, helpful, greeting us as if her personal guests. Convenient to gas station and casual dining. Room rate was reasonable. We would recommend to others and stay again.

The room was very clean, smelled great and overall 10/10 the only disappointing thing for me personally is there was no plug for the tub. We had been outside all day and got chilled so I thought a hot bath would cure me but with no plug I could only have a shower. The staff were very accommodating and I was very surprised how updated the rooms were. We enjoyed our stay

We stayed only one night but the owner was very accommodating, giving us specific instructions on how to check in after hours. Very clean, beds comfortable. The only problem is the projector lights outside all night, and the blinds are very thin, so if you are sensitive to light when sleeping, this hotel will not do for you.

The property was by the water and a short drive to the public park for sitting by the lake and enjoying the view.The building is old, however, the rooms are nice. There is a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker for personal use.The manager greeted us at check-in and checkout which was a nice touch.
