This village was amazing. The view from villige are grate. You can view one of the moste beautiful mountain in Bulgaria. The room are clean, and everything are ecological. They offer and very tasty food and home made cake. The place are quiet and you can enjoy your vacation.

Eco village "Debeli Dab" is nice eco location with beautiful nature. Also it is great place with excellent cuisine. Definitely you should try home made ice cream :) And one more advise: Don’t miss the rafting in the nearby river.

Hot hospitality! There is wonderful panorama view to Pirin NP. We was in wooden houses with large windows looking to the mountain. Near to the eco village are thermal springs with hot wother. Food in the restaurant is verry tasty!

Beautiful and very peaceful  place, located in the heart of Pirin mountain, in Stara Kresna. Beautiful nature,possibility for walks. Cozy rooms, clean and worm. Delicious home made food. People,  who work there, were very nice and helpful.

Great hospitality, beautiful nature, warm natural springs near by. Very nice local food. We were there with my wife for a nice vacation. I would strongly recommend the place to everyone. Five stars!!!

You wake up in the morning and you see the best view ever, Pirin mountains. Your bed is comfortable, it's warm and cosy in the little houses, the food in the kitchen is just great! And you have the choice of three mineral springs or Struma river, this is real luxury while feeling away from busy life.

Stayed there with a group of friends after a rafting trip in the area and we had the greatest time. The place is beautiful, clean and super chill. All the people working there were so nice to us and made sure we have everything we needed. Would love to go back. 

Fun stuff to do in the area. From rafting and kayaking to walks to waterfalls. We visited in the spring. Amazing view and welcoming staff. Enjoyed the river a lot. We went in the morning for rafting and had a party at night.

   Amazing place and very welcome staff! Don’t miss the rafting in the nearby river. Special thank to Boris and Pinke ! We will definitely come back to try some trekking in the national park. Great initiative

I just love this place

Debeli dab is about 100m up a primitive road from the main square of stara kresna. Rooms are as on the website constructed of chip board to a good standard with a good standard bathroom.

The village offers amazing views with spectacular walks. The pool is a little hit and miss depending on the water quality (non-drinkable so buy plenty of water) and grounds are well kept.

Positive: Wago (receptionist, manager, barman, groundsman and occasional cook (aka one man band) is a friendly and outgoing guy who does what he can to accommodate you. His time keeping is sometimes a little off but please remember he does everything from 6-23.30.

Apart from the stunning scenery the only walking distance attraction is a thermal baths for which you can expect to pay 1 lev per person (the location is local knowledge). To get to it you drive down the road from delib and continue straight through main square and up road just past football pitch on right until you see a blue sign on right near dirt track-follow this track to the end through the forest-be warned the track will test your suspension if driving. If walking take plenty of water it's about 5km.

WiFi is excellent and rooms are very clean.

Negative: the only entertainment for kids is the pool which I said is hit and miss. Meals are local cuisine so don't expect a menu, it's what they are cooking which if you stay for a week can be repetative. The nearest supermarket is in kresna about a 20min drive down the hill where you can pick up what you need. There are no fridges in the rooms, no aircon or fans, we were told that this is because it's eco (even though food is heated in a micro in the kitchen), given that temperature was hitting 39 Celsius I think delib dab should review this for health reasons-you need somewhere to keep things cool especially for the very young and very old. Take lots of sun cream and insect repellent both the sun and the insects can be fierce, it goes without saying sturdy shoes and long trousers for walks.

Breakfast does not include coffee that is extra.

Prices: 1 euro is roughly 2 lev. 1 lev is roughly 2 zloty. Drinks at delib - beer 2 lev, water 1.50 large bottle, fanta 2.50 and coffee 1.

Summary a great experience, Wagon is a great guy ....go see and enjoy!
