We were driving to the end of look out point late in the day. We saw the sign for Refugio do Estaleiro and decided to stay, no reservations. It is not a busy time of year but the staff acted as though we were the only guests. They made us feel so welcome and relaxed. The room had a glass doorway to the balcony. The view of the setting sun was stunning. Dinner was absolutely excellent. We shared the Camarao en Abacaxi for two (shrimp in pineapple halves. This is a wonderful, private restful getaway.
