Pousada Recanto Verde da Praia

Recanto Verde da Praia is a perfect little hideaway that is aptly named because it is so green and cozy. It is in a great location, inside a secure condominium just a quick walk to a pristine beach (where you'll likely have it to yourself or with few others). It is half an hour from Maceio (a bit further to Pajuçara) and 20 minutes to Praia do Carro Quebrado. Parking is on the premises, breakfast is included and they can provide lunch and dinner upon request with a fairly extensive menu for such a small establishment. The pool is small but nice and there are five rooms named after flowers in which you can stay. Yuri, our host was extremely accommodating, gracious and was eager to assist with all requests any hour of the day or night (as well as the staff). We were able to get a late dinner (that was delicious) and a little container to go for the baby. He also gave us perfect advice for what beaches and places to visit and explore to include Praia do Carro Quebrado, Praia do Patacho and when to go to Maragogi to avoid crowds. The only downside, and it was minor was the water pressure in the shower and the bathroom was a bit small.
