It was a quick stay of one night. But, the experience was wonderful. This is the most complete bed and breakfast that I've stayed. It has all the comforts presented in a practical no frills way. The only aspect that could annoy someone is that there is no wifi for the rooms, just in the common area. This beach really is worth visiting and the stay at this hotel rivals the quality of the Praia do Francês where it is located. Although it is not on the beach, it is strategically located near a good supermarket and on a direct route to the beach about five blocks away. Most of all, you will love the quiet and the feeling of safety. It is easy to find just off the major beach route from Maceió to the south AL-101. This makes it a great option for seeing the attractions of the area that besides the Francês Beach include the historic Marechal Deodouro, the beach of Gunga and Barra de São Antonio to mention a few. Oh, and the village is filled with colorful stores offering good arts and crafts items. Summing up: The Blue Viking is worth many return visits.
