We really enjoyed our stay at Lagoa beach hostel. The pool was nice and clean as well as the kitchen. Breakfast was delicious- ham, cheese, baguettes, bread, fresh fruit and juice, tea, coffee, toasty maker and more. Staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Only downside is our room was hot at night the fan didn’t reach our beds but nothing an extra fan couldn’t fix. Would definitely recommend and return.

Lagoa Beach Hostel is a beautiful place, it is a beautiful house that every corner has something beautiful to convey to you, an excellent, friendly and sweet treatment. An amazing view! And it has something you don't want to miss out on.

The best place to do buzios!

The hostel is located in Geribá, there are a few combs that will leave you in the avenue and from there there there will be 6 squares (mode morro ascending and descending) visually it is very nice has a comfortable pool in front of the reception. I had booked a room to share with 4 people but when I arrived at the hostel I found that there was a group of girls to have about 10/12 people so there were several rooms reserved for the same group, they offered me a room of 6 to share with 5 boys and another suite which was a private bathroom without paint with a smell of fresh air and columns that were doubled alone... they said it had more privacy but it was actually a hostel that was in the back of the reception where all the rooms are lined up.

I traveled with my siblings and aunt and uncle and they treated me very well. We ordered a very nice private room with a simple but clean style. A beautiful view from the room. Attention friendly and Spanish speakers. The breakfast is simple but rich and with fresh fruits. And the price is reasonable with the quality of the hostel. The place has a wifi connection, not the best but it is free in all areas.

Good music, great facilities, everything super clean, those who work hard sound good, there is a bar in the pile, very affordable prices and homemade meals! The very complete breakfast and the attention of 10! No more can be ordered!!

The best hostel ever!

Perfect location 2 minutes from the beach gerida (surf spot) Good atmosphere, with concerts by various local artists on Mondays.

With a view of the sea and a few meters from the beach.From my room the waves could be heard.The atmosphere was very pleasant.The kids were very attentive.The common areas are spacious.The rooms were bright.The internet connection is excellent.I had no problems.Enjoy it!

Divertidos are fun.

This is a clean, spacious place with a friendly, welcoming vibe. The owner and his wife are so friendly and helpful. They speak English, Spanish, and Portuguese. When I arrived I had a reservation for an 8 bed dorm, but the owner offered to place me in a 4 bedroom because the 8 bedroom had only guys, and he was concerned about me being comfortable. So sweet and thoughtful!

It's a little far from the center but you can take a cheap van to downtown. I wish I had more time to spend here. The breakfast is super tasty, with hot coffee, fresh juices, fruit, bread, cake, etc.

I'm not sure which countries tourists might come from at other times of the year, but it helps to know Spanish, as Buzios receives many foreigners from Argentina.

One tip about the shower: If you put the pressure on too high, it might not heat up properly, so turn it on gently.

A few tips about the trip to Arraial do Cabo:

It's a very good bargain (130 reais) as transport and a buffet are included. However, you don't eat until the end of the tour, at about 4 or 5pm, so it's a good idea to bring some snacks (though you can also buy some on the boat).

The nature you'll see is stunning, but the boat can be crowded, and the tour guide only spoke Spanish and Portuguese. It was fine for me since I'm fluent in Spanish, but I recommend knowing some before you go.

Awesome place right by the beach with a great vibe

I loved it here. The staff treated you like family. Great room, large with fan. Kitchen to use. Great breakfast. Only 100m to the beach and a few streets from where you can catch a bus to town. 
The property has a pool and hammocks.
This really is the perfect hostel.

More like a hotel. AMAZING STAFF. Right near the beach

We went there with some friends and hat a very good time. outside area is very nice to enjoy a drink with your friends. the dorm was luckily not servo dictionary and still very comfortable with the fans. the hostel is only a view minutes walking distance to the beach.
