Hostel Heart of Sarajevo

I really enjoyed my stay at Hostel Heart of Sarajevo, mostly because the nice guy Jerko at reception, he creates a nice atmosphere among guests. One evening he made us very delicious crêpes, it was so good that some guys 'shamelessly' asked for some more. Later on we found out that Jerko was a professional chef!

Location is a prime, exactly in the middle of the Old Town, literally one minute walking from everything you might need; restaurants, pubs & bars, main shopping street, 24/7 supermarket..

I'm planning to go back Sarajevo again one day and definitely will stay at the same hostel again :)


Great stay!!

Firstly, I've seen a few 'terrible' reviews on here, the new owners have taken over recently and the terrible reviews are all dated at least a year ago so please do not take note of these. 

Really nice hostel, comfy beds, not lots of beds crammed into a small room, good shower, full kitchen. What more do you want from a hostel. 
Unfortunately I was ill on my days in Sarajevo and the guy working there couldn't do enough for me! Such a lovely guy!
So although my strange experience in this hostel, I couldn't recommend it enough for somewhere to stay whilst you visit Sarajevo!

Good place to chill, had an amazing stay, staff were helpful!
Had a unique opportunity to go to experience some classical music played by some local students which was recommended by the staff. Highly recommend :D

Staff is good, you can contact them 7/24, rooms are good and clean. I didn't have breakfast but the kitchen is open for use. Location is quite good which is nearby almost everything and you can try the delicous pizzas of the restaurant next door.

Best hostel I've ever been!

Two night stay!

Good place to stay with your friends in Sarajevo

Best location!

Hostel has great place - directly in center of city, it is eventually clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. And that`s all good news. One bathroom/WC on eight beds, no privacy, no access on car, no parking,  no privacy. So if You are nice company of good friends who want just to have shelter for night and not think about comfort at all, this really can be Your choice.
