Excellent
3450 reviewsI recently did a 2 week/5 city trip across Europe with my girlfriend with Brussels being my first stop. As an American having travelled abroad very infrequently, there is a certain expectation (and potential apprehension) when booking staying accommodations in Europe: What comforts & expectations of American hotels that I have to either part with or change for the European hotels. The Dominican exceeded any expectations I would have of an American accommodation. Easily. To give additional context: I am a Bonvoy member and used points to book a 2-night stay to kick off our European tour. This stay was the cheapest among the other properties that we would be staying at in London, Paris, Nice, and Zurich. Needless to say, I was only expecting the bare necessities: A bed, a shower, and a working toilet/sink. When walking up to the hotel and entering the lobby I was blown away with how beautiful the lobby was designed. In fact, I mentioned to my girlfriend that we may be in the wrong place. The attentive front desk associate quickly took our information and was extremely helpful in checking us in quickly and making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The room? Fantastic. Perfect space, plenty of charging ports for our amenities, a comfortable bed made quick work of our jet lag, and small details that contributed to an amazing stay. The shower? I still think about it now after having returned from our trip a week ago. The only issue here is that when using the rain shower, water will sometimes find its way into the bathroom as it splashes off your body. Not a big issue, but something noticeable if clothes find themselves hanging near the shower. Out of all the places we stayed on our trip, this property is always spoken highly of when retelling our adventures.
