My family were in a situation where we were driving back from Germany to Calais when my husband had to be taken to hospital and we were told we would need to stay in Belguim until his release 5 days later - this was totally unplanned and we had no idea where to go , as you can imagine Christmas in Oostende finding a hotel on 22nd Dec was not going to be easy (or cheap) but a nurse recommended this hotel - with no other real alternatives we took a leap of faith at 9pm that night and checked in - the brothers that run this hotel were simply incredible - they put me and my daughters in adjoining rooms and were constantly on hand if we needed anything - All of that aside this hotel is just perfect - spotlessly clean - perfect location for all the markets and the beach - breakfast was great - beds are super comfortable - and a very reasonable price - would 100% recommend this place
