La Saisonneraie

We stayed here because we love old houses especially the chateaus and castkes of the once wealthy and famous. This is a beautiful house with numerous impressive details located outside Falaen Belgium. It is one of the most authentic places we have been. There's is no central heating but we had an excellent fireplace we kept stoked until the room warmed up and maintained on its own through its thick walls. There is a bath but no shower but plenty of hot water. The owners are very nice and make an excellent breakfast. Queen Victoria would have been amazed at the luxury but we were some where in between centuries. Highly recommended as an enjoyable experience to those of us who still have a little adventure in ourselves.
