B&B Casa Luna Loft

We were coming to Dendermonde for a gig, to see "Othmar xl", and were looking for somewhere to stay close to the venue, as we were coming by train, and we saw this place. Of course when arriving by train in the morning, the overnight case is a problem as there are no luggage lockers at the station. The owners very kindly allowed us to go in on arrival and leave our luggage. It was lovely and felt warm and welcoming, with some little snacks too. It is on the second floor, so not ideal for anyone who has a problem with stairs. After a long day of sightseeing, there seemed to be even more stairs when we came back!! haha. I wanted to style my hair ready for going out, but the bathroom mirror is not for short people, I could only see the top of my head!! But no problem as there was a mirror in the living room. A lovely cosy place, must be a dream in the summer with the balcony and outdoor shower. The stairs to the bed worried me a bit (I have a hip problem) and stepping from stairs to the ledge, but it was easier than it looked at first. The only thing I didn't like was no top sheet and sleeping under a sort of blanket which felt rough. Breakfast the next morning was delivered to our door, a real feast, and fresh milk included for the tea, as nutroma is really horrid in tea. I always take my own tea bags when travelling, and usually a small carton of milk too, but had forgotten the milk and tried tea with nutroma when we arrived and it was horrid, so the milk next morning added to the perfection. Really there is everything there that you could possibly need. I have already been recommending it to friends. Thank you for our lovely stay.
