Time Out Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at the Time Out Hotel. The location is fantastic just a stones throw from Dover beach and local bars and eateries. The hotel is clean and the staff work hard to keep it that way. Reception staff happily dealt with the few requests I had being professional and polite at all times. The pool area is a nice little oasis with plenty of seating and sun beds. Our room was large and well equipped with built in closet, safe, en-suite bathroom, kettle with tea and coffee, two bottles of water for when we arrived, a TV , chest of draws and a table with chair. Our room didn’t not have a terrace or balcony to sit on which would have been nice , but that is the room we paid for so the hotel was not at fault. Not having a balcony was an issue with Virgin Atlantic holidays and how they describe the room we would be getting. It did not distract from having a great holiday though. The hotel supply’s a luggage store and refreshment room with shower for the day of your departure and give you towels. The area the hotel is in is a mix of holiday makers and locals. There are some interesting characters but all are friendly and have their own charm. I really enjoyed the location, it felt genuine and not sanitised for tourists. Yes there is some noise from the local bars at night but it was never an issue for us. Our room looked out over the football pitch and basketball court. It was so nice to see the community using these facilities daily. A fantastic stay and we hope to return soon. Thank you.
