We stayed in Der Wiesenhof for four nights in July 2011. We traveled around Austria with 3 kids and wanted to stay somewhere around Wolfgang lake for a few days. Location - convenient, just off the main road around the lake (on the west shore). All towns around the lake (Strobl, St. Gilgen, St. Wolfgang) are 10-15 minutes away by car (even better to make it by bike) Parking - free, always enough space Rooms - great, clean, comfortable, great valley views from the windows Food - excellent - we had half board and really enjoyed dinners Garden - very nice and relaxing, around the house, plenty of joy and activities for the kids, who really enjoyed the playground Service - friendly, home style, family run business Price - reasonable, you get what you pay for Based on our experience - we could definitely recommend.
