VAYA Sölden

Everything from mailing the hotel upfromt our bookings, to booking and our stay was just perfect. This very modern stylish hotel has prima services. The staff in the reception area is SUPER! Our one-bedroom-suite worked great for our family of three. Sounds weired, but I have to mention the doors. They are of high quality, because they were completely soundproof (I have visted hundreds of hotels, but have never experienced total silence in the room before). Other than that the rooms are clean and well equipped. We also enjoyed the wellness area with three different saunas and a relax room. Felt great after days of skiing :) You get a package of bathropes and slippers in your room. The hotel offered services like bying the skipass at the reception, giving us the opportunity to jump on the skibus (which is 50m from the hotel) and directly to the gondolas. And this was highly appreciated!!! The only thing i can put my finger on was the halfpension solution. THe set menu (3 course) was variable in quality, and even thought the starters (always soup) were really good, the overall impression was that they have huge rooms for improvement. And also; the waiters were unfortunately not the best. It was hard to get something to drink. They would walk by our table over 10 times and still never ever bothered to ask if we wanted something to drink, even though everything was empty. And when we finally got hold of a waiter it took sooo long to get those drinks. If going back to Sölden, we are regardless of the restaurant and it's services definately going back to VAYA :)
