Pension Triebl

Probably we were in another place with the same name as we had no such a bad experience as some reviews indicated. We booked it one day before for 16/18 August when ALL the other gasthause and almost all hotels were already booked. So we had two single rooms as the last rooms for 2 nights for 150 Euros with breakfast. Seeing before the other prices for this holiday period, this price was very good. We had no problem with the furnitures, the beds were ok, the rooms, too. The landlady were kind and helpful, she asked whether we would like to go to the Schneeberg by train and she advised to use the hotel bill as a voucher to buy tickets cheaper. And we did! The breakfast was OK, basic, but this was really good basis for the mountain trip for us. Very easy walk from the train station, the train just passes at the end of the garden. Should we our friend/family members would come to Puchberg, this place could be again a good place to stay. Yes, this is not a fancy high-tech hotel, but the wifi was still reachable at the top floor, and the old furnitures may also indicates that the carbon is still stored in the wood and the carbon footprint of this house is nice, as they can be used for decades :)
