Frühstückspension Sunnhäusl

Just back from a wonderful 5 night stay with the Familie Harlander at the Sunnhaeusl in Sankt Veit. We had stayed before a few years ago so we were looking forward to visiting again. On arrival we were met by Herr Harlander who helped with bags and showed us to Room 3 on the ground floor very close to the breakfast room. Warm and beautifully decorated in modern traditional Austrian style, Room 3 has a large double bed with cosy duvets and feather pillows, an excellent Smart TV, small balcony and a large ensuite bathroom with a super shower cubicle and all the usual amenities. The bathroom and bedroom were both super clean throughout (as is the entire property). For breakfast we met Frau Harlander (Helga) in the equally beautiful breakfast room where she prepared a buffet breakfast of cereals, juice, cold meats, cheeses, salad items and breads, plus freshly boiled eggs to order and a good supply of tea/coffee as needed. Lots of conversation with Helga about our plans for the stay made us feel very at home. For non-skiers and skiers alike there is information available about local transport, skibus times etc and Helga is happy to advise on anything to make your stay a pleasant one. There is also a large boot room accessed from outside the property with boot warmer for overnight use. Overall we had a fabulous stay with Helga at Sunnhaeusl and we can't wait to visit you again! 😀 (Richard & Toni Cleaver, UK) xxx
