A very friendly place to stay with older Tyrollean decor in keeping with the area. It offers good value for money situated on the outskirts of Neustift im Stubaital but only 5 minutes walk from the centre of town. If arriving by bus from Innsbruck the new name for the bus stop is Neustift St Rain the old name is mittleschule but I suppose most people come by car nowadays. I stayed on bed & breakfast basis. I recommend Cafe Anny in town for eating an evening meal they specialise in Italian food and their pizzas are freshly made. The Billa supermarket is great for fruit, baked items and snacks. The glacier skiing is 16kms away at the end of the valley at Neustift im Stubaital Mutterbergalm about 35 minutes in the free bus with a guest card. The Freizeitcenter is a swimming pool with indoor & outdoor pools and a water tube slide. It has ten pin bowling, sauna, solarium, bar and is worth a visit. The lady owner provided good information about the area and things to see and do and some history of the area. The church in town is supposed to be well decorated inside but I only saw it from the outside. It's within easy reach of Innsbruck too so a combination of the two city & countryside would be a nice. There are walking trails along the valley. In summer the animals cows & goats walk & graze near the roadside often the bus has to stop for them. One brown cow at the end of the concrete avalanche barrier is notorious for making the bus stop. It makes a change from being delayed by roadworks. This hotel would be good for families with young children. They say that people make a place and this place has a kind friendly owner who makes you feel welcome.
