My family has been coming here for nearly 40 years, hiking in summer and skiing in winter. This is a lovely, very quiet place near the far end of the valley, but with easy access to the restaurants, nightlife, and/or shopping of either Saalbach or Hinterglemm. With their breakfast offerings and kitchen available for preparing evening meals, we usually only eat out on the trails (the almhutten are a must) or slopes. Most rooms are for couples, though other parts of the farmhouse have larger, family-style rooms with bunk beds. There is a shared toilet in the hallway, although all rooms have a sink and shower. Hanni and Andrea treat everyone like family and will go out of their way to make everyone's stay as special as possible.
