We were given 3 wonderful ground floor room’s which gave us the opportunity to entertain ourselves on the verandah while having a wine and beer. The rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. This is a B&B but we weren’t aware that there was no fridge in our room ( first timers) so ice was bought at the nearby bottle shop

We booked and when we arrived we were greeted in a cursory manner. 
It struck me that it was unusual that we were the only guest there at 4pm. 
By the time we returned at 6pm there were still no other guests. 
The room was very nice and not at all like a motel. 
Next morning at the appointed breakfast time - the kitchen had not been touched since the night before. 

Reception did not answer the phone. There appeared to be no one else in the premises. 
We raided the cupboards to make a continental breakfast as best we could (in lieu of the hot cooked breakfast we had paid for) and noticed yogurt had a use-by date 2 days prior. 
We left without being able to raise anyone. 

2 days later after countless calls I finally got someone to answer the phone. The claim was that the breakfast menu was not put in the right place so the ‘breakfast lady’ left!
The only point we agreed on, was that we were the only guests on that Friday night. 

I suggest that the business is all but abandoned and one should not trust them with any deposit.

Unfortunately, this review was put on Booking.com under the wrong motel name (my error after being deluged with emails from booking.com).
All attempts to correct that error have failed and it seems impossible to contact Booking.com by phone to seek help correcting my error - despite what their web site promises. 
I will also try to avoid booking.com in future.

Spent 2 nights at this very welcoming B & B
Like staying at a friends home! Very clean and comfy beds! Breakfasts were fabulous- met other guests and shared some fun stories with them and the owners! 
Hubbie and the owner even shared a beer together in the cosy warm lounge! Thanks Peter- you and Lisa are great hosts!
All the best with your B&B - highly recommend a stay when in Tamworth- close to the guitar and eateries!

Very welcoming B & B

We enjoyed our overnight stay. The managers were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. 
It is a beautiful B&B, we would definitely stay again. It's in a wonderful quiet area with a beautiful view over the golf course.

The property was built for overnight stays, feels quite modern and fresh.  The rooms were spacious and well supplied for the traveller.  Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly.  The breakfast was very good and good options.  Would not pick anywhere else to stay.  For other meals its a short walk to the tavern.

Laurel and Rod were kind, friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The property is very well maintained and the room was really pleasant, clean and comfortable. Would definitely return next time we're in the area.

Beautiful property, fantastic hosts

We booked direct with Plumes and the booking process was faultless, the welcome was warm and friendly and the room, breakfast and facilities excellent. Laurel gave some excellent suggestions for sight-seeing and made an outstanding breakfast with "proper"coffee.

We had a one night stay here and it was lovely. We woke up and had an excellent breakfast. The room was clean and cosy! Great customer service also.

Plumes On The Green

We stumbled across this B&B whilst driving through Tamworth.  This is in a lovely setting and the rooms were well appointed.  We had a really comfortable room with access to a small terrace,  There were great toiletries provided and best of all, the B&B was just across the road from a great pub with good food. Breakfast was cooked to order by Laurel and was first class.  We really enjoyed our stay and will return.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stop in Tamworth and especially the wonderful hospitality shown to us by Petrice at Plumes on the Green, I found both Petrice and Linda (at breakfast) very friendly and chatty, I could have stayed longer. The meal across the road at the Hotel was very generous and all COVID protocol adhered to, which was duly noted, and the car wash was very convenient too, to clear off our acquired "bugs". Would love to revisit again in the future.Cheers Kerrie and Linton
