We stayed one night here for an engagement party nearby and were blown away by the host's warm hospitality. Great rooms with air conditioning (a must in summer) and an incredible cooked to order breakfast in the morning. Would stay here again in the future.

My husband and I stayed for 1 night at the B&B. Overall, we loved our stay. It was a nice change from staying in a hotel. We had a decent sized room with an ensuite and a door that overlooked the patio (shared with 2 other rooms). There are 3 rooms on the first floor with a shared kitchen and lounge room. The breakfast was delicious. To start, we had fruit (watermelon, blueberries, strawberries and banana) with yoghurt. Then we had eggs, sausages, toast, bacon, spinach and tomato. Also a choice of tea or coffee and fresh orange juice. The service was wonderful and everything was very neat and tidy. I would recommend this place if you are in need of a relaxing night away!

Tanya was brilliant as was her man Tim.  They made this a very special visit and had some terrific suggestions for local sights and dining.  The place is very cosy and relaxed with a tropical vibe throughout the property

We stayed for one night recently in this delightful Bed and Breakfast - Mt Coolum Retreat "A Bed and Breakfast."  It was a lovely and a very happy experience.  The hostess, Tanya Taylor, couldn't have been more helpful or nicer, from our very first telephone conversation when I booked after finding the establishment online.  She was happy to fit in with our arrival shedule and on our arrival, she was there to welcome us, showed us through the very attractive Bed and Breakfast establishment with lovely gardens and communal areas.  She took our breakfast order for the following morning, showed us how to use the tv, and was just generally very welcoming.  The Bed and Breakfast is situated on a hill with a lovely, leafy outlook and is immaculate, cheerful and a delightful place to stay with tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolates all provided with compliments.  The next morning, we enjoyed a breakfast of cereal, fruit, freshly cooked bacon, eggs, tomato, toast, etc., or whatever else we would have liked, along with the guests in the other two rooms with whom we enjoyed a lovely chat.  Wonderful value and a lovely way to spend an evening.

A wonderful B&B with exceptional service. Location is easy to find and close to Coolum Beach. Room is everything you could need, complete with little chocolate treats. 

Tanya is excellent and makes you feel very welcome. Breakfast is delicious, something you would expect to cost upward of $20 per person at a cafe. 

Highly recommend for couples wishing to have a little getaway.
