we were very lucky to be allocated the private villa in the grounds. The villa was immaculate and very clean. The proprietor (Chitra) was exceptionally considerate in that we would miss breakfast one morning due to an early mountain biking tour and she provided cereals, milk and coffee as she could not see us leave without any breakfast.

Everything is awesome! You’ll get more than in a 5 star hotel ;) Superb!

Wonderful view, beautiful lounge with fireplace. Comfortable beddings. Wow! Impressive experience while having a glass of wine in the bathtub facing Blue mountains! 

A cat manger will greet you at the lobby  :)

Could not rate this stay high enough. 

Stayed in the Orchid suite with the bath and stunning views.  

Beautiful clean house! Great sitting room to be shared with a gas fireplace.  Couldn't fault the furnishing and comfort level.  Cakes and slices available upon arrival.

Very accommodating with an early check in which was unplanned. 

The hospitality was flawless.  Returning from dinner out to a turn down service, fire lit and privacy. 

Breakfast was amazing. Poached eggs (any style you request) mushys, grilled tomatoes, pork sausages, bacon and fresh local bread.

Only fault which Didn't bother us one bit but may be an issue for some is a little road noise from the highway.  Again didn't bother us and hope to stay again before they sell.  

P.s watching the sunrise over Sydney and the mountains from bed. Topped off a great stay.

Our stay here although only 1 night was superb. Our hostess was so welcoming & friendly I felt at home as soon as I walked in. 
A warm fire & a cup of tea & cake on our arrival was a great start. The property is immaculate & our room was spotless, with a very comfortable bed & nice linen. 
There was a lovely choice at breakfast of fruits, yoghurt & cereals, and a choice of cooked breakfast too.  
Couldn’t fault it, spot on! 


This the place to stay in the Blue Mountains.  It is centrally located and easy to find.  The rooms are large and comfortable.  The breakfast was excellent each day and after a hard day of hiking relaxing outside and the scenery with a good bottle of wine is just what the doctor ordered.

This place was absolutely magical. Waking up to the sun shining through the windows and the beautiful view of the surrounding nature was wonderful. Breakfast was made to order every morning and it truly was better than any restaurant or cafe could offer. Fresh and vibrant flavors kept me full for hours afterwards. 
The hospitality and attention to all the small details went above and beyond my expectations.
Excellent for couples, families, and a single getaway, I will definitely be returning the next time I come to the Blue Mountains.

A perfect place to base yourself for the Blue Mountains, with exceptional hospitality. Chitra, the host, was born to be a Bed and Breakfast Host - she is lovely. We stayed in the Orchid room, attached to the main house. The room, views, breakfast - everything was just top quality. It really is a great place to stay. So much space in the rooms, a very large bathroom with huge shower and bath tub. Great views out the window. Nice little seated area outside for views. Big lounge-room to relax in. Everything is as you would expect from a great Bed and Breakfast. Much better than a hotel.

But, if I had to pick a fault, I would say it was a bit noisy. The house is kind of above a main road, so you heard trucks from the bedroom at night and early in the morning. We stayed in the Orchid room, upstairs, so maybe the other rooms are quieter. But if that doesn't bother you - everything else is outstanding. I think the Private Vila is away from this road, but can't guarantee it's quieter. 

Take nothing away from the host though. She is wonderful. Thanks for the stay Chitra.

Excellent hotel, great location

From the recent reviews, I was expecting a lot.  It was ok. 
The good - friendly and welcoming hostess, delicious breakfast, beautifully decorated in lounge area, clean, good bed.
The bad - view of the roof from all windows, steep stairs to room with lots of scuff marks on wall, parking felt a bit treacherous, limited room to manoeuvre next to a steep fall, had to call to find out wifi password and breakfast times, hole in bedroom wall, exposed light bulb in bathroom.
It seemed built to a budget, not to a standard.  I think the Orchid Room may be the one to book.

I start with the positives: the owner of the property is absolutely lovely! Very welcoming, extremely humble, a great host!! The breakfast is great, very generous and very fresh, perfection! unfortunately... to charge a 5star accommodation price, you must deliver more... so here you have the negatives that made me rate this experience "POOR"... The cottage we stayed in (so-called the bird nest) was a motel-type accommodation, a bad result of modern and old-fashion style furnitures blend randomly placed around, old and noisy appliances (the kitchen fridge above all!), no amenities at all (as you would expect in an accommodation with this sort of price range) with an overall sense of tired and not really comfortable place. The wifi did not work, the cable TV channels and not even the standard channels did not work (probably the antenna was broken or something...), the jacuzzi bath did not work with great disappointment from my 9y old daughter that was really looking forward to it, the bed covers were old... Like I mentioned at the beginning, if it wasn't for the host and the breakfast, this place would have had the lowest score possible. For these reasons, I do not recommend it.
