A wide selection on the menu all well priced, the family had a variety of dishes with not a single complaint, the ambience was good and the staff attentive and courteous.
Good parking on site available

Good Lunch

Close to the airport but noisy, Friday night, concert at the restaurant, when you get on the plane very early in the middle... and you hear the road.

Noisy hotel

Took my Family for a meal on the night of Sunday 22nd August  and it was one of the worst meals we have had put in front of us. Sorry but would not recommend this Hotel. Very disappointed.
Have been Patrons for over 50 years . Once was one of the best. Sadly one of the worst now.

Very, very disappointing meal

Yesterday our family had lunch here.
Sadly, the meal was bad. My son had salt and pepper squid. $28 for a smallish serve of squid and a lot of chips. The chips were good, the squid average. 
My husband had a schnitzel. Thick and chewy. The 'mushroom' gravy had one tiny slice of mushroom in it and no flavour of mushroom. Slicing a mushroom into a gravy does not a mushroom gravy make.
But the worst was my 'plant based' pasta. I would think it would be difficult to make a pasta this bad. How difficult is it to make a half decent pasta sauce?
It was runny and green and BITTER. 
Pretty much inedible.
I have given 2 stars... one for the chips and the other for the service.. the staff were lovely.
The dining room was full of senior citizens. There is a lunch special for them. For full paying punters and at over $100 for a bad pub lunch I wouldn't go back.

So disappointing

This hotel restaurant has a warm and friendly environment. The food is great with excellent hot and cold extras bar, plus the service is always efficient and friendly. Access to the restaurant from the car park is convenient and wheelchair friendly.

Another great lunch

I took Mt three year old grandson on a special outing. Nuggets and chips and Thai beef salad. Can’t comment much on the nuggets and chips but he houvered them up but the Thai salad was something else. A steak (hot or just cooked) topped with some rice noodles. The dressing had no relation to a Thai salead ie no lime or lemon, coriander mint or heat. No sweet sour flavours and inedible. $44 for salad kids meal and 2 soft drinks. Just a waste of money

Terrible lunch

I was very happy with this Hotel , we had lunch , quick service, friendley, co-operative , when I went to fill up my  plate with vegetables Bar and Salad bar, I was very impressed with the presentation and the taste was remarkable, I had Fish and Chips and my fish was beautifully cooked, well presented on plate , the chips were beautiful also, gd prices as well, my friends were very happy with overall as they had differant meals, great job

For Lunch

Four of us met for drinks and a pub meal at Morphet Arms Hotel on Friday night.
Great environment with plenty sports screen displaying most activities one would watch if so inclined. Live music in beer garden area.
Plenty variety of beers on tap and by bottle.
Good range of pub style meals as well as the more expensive meals if desired.
Service good and bar people friendly. Meals were good except for the salt and pepper calamari which simply appeared to be the last crispy outer coating and next to no calamari. Should have returned but we were enjoying ourselves so didn’t bother.
$24 for chips and bit of salad??.?

Pub meal with friends at Morphetville

Our family decided to have an early Christmas get together this year, so we booked a table at the Morphett Arms. 
We find ourselves eating here a fair bit as the food is consistently good. 
Our Christmas dinner was really good, 
I ordered the Salmon with Asian Slaw, which I really enjoyed. I had some sides from the salad bar also. The salad bar is considerably better and tastier than your average pub salad bar. We always joke that you could almost be content just eating from the Morphett arms salad bar.

Excellent as always

Morphett Arms is a great hotel that consistently serves good meals and has a nice atmosphere.  It was for this reason we decided to book in when we needed a single night’s accommodation. Rooms are clean.  Details on the website are lacking and so we didn’t realise that a double twin comprised two not very big single beds.  Decor and fittings very old.  I have only seen a tinier bathroom in Italy, and we didn’t know that the entertainment would be directly underneath us. At $110 / night hugely overpriced.
